This fast-paced, thought-provoking show explores our need to fit in, to belong, to be wanted. Devised specifically for teenagers, ‘Wanted’ fuses humour, metaphor, music and real life stories in an engaging, episodic show that challenges our thinking.
This show is particularly relevant to Key Stage 3 & 4 Drama, PSHE and RS curricula. The production lasts approximately 50 minutes, following which students will be given the opportunity to reflect on the issues raised (total programme approximately 1 hour).

Comment from a secondary Head of Drama about a previous show: “Relevant, sensitive and very entertaining. Our students and staff loved it and can’t wait for you to visit again.”
Responses from secondary school teachers after seeing the show include:
‘Riverside created and performed an engaging production that had the Year 8 students enthralled throughout the performance.’ Teacher, Smiths Wood Sports College.
‘This is the second time that Riverside Performing Arts have visited and again we have been greatly impressed with the quality of the drama and workshop. Through the drama you allow the pupils to explore relevant themes and encourage them to take part in valuable discussion and performance work. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the session and are eager to know when the next visit might be!’ Teacher, Triple Crown PRU
Responses from students include:
‘A great way to engage the target audience and relatable scenarios.’
‘I really liked the creativity of the different sketches. I liked the research and statistics they did and when they said ‘our research’ which actually made me think ‘wow’ they did the research on their own.’
‘I liked how you turned a serious situation to make it comedy pertinent to our age group.’
