Hi, my name’s Henry. I’m from Bromsgrove in Worcestershire and I’m completing my time as a student at RPA.
Before I started this course, I really didn’t know what to expect. I remember my first day, where we met our tutors and got to know the rest of the team, and to be honest, I was a bit nervous and wasn’t sure if this was the right course for me. I have always been a very timid kid who didn’t say much, and didn’t do well when speaking in front of people.
Nine months later, my confidence has grown, my faith in God has definitely matured, and I have made friendships which will last a lifetime.
I would say my highlights have been when we’re on tour, where we really see God at work in the schools and hearing incredible stories of how we have impacted kids’ lives.
RPA is an amazing year if you want to use your gifts in the arts for God and to grow into the person he wants you to be.
