This fast-paced, thought-provoking issue based show unpacks our obsession with getting more and asks the question: “what makes us truly happy?” Devised specifically for teenagers, MORE! fuses humour, metaphor, music and real life stories in an engaging, episodic show to challenge our understanding on what makes us content.
MORE! tours secondary schools for two weeks, from Monday 25th February – Friday 8th March 2013. It is particularly relevant to Key Stage 3 & 4 PSHE, RS and Drama curricula. The production lasts approximately 50 minutes, following which students will be given the opportunity to reflect on the issues raised through discussion groups led by the performers (total programme approximately 1 hour).
We also offer a follow-up drama workshop, which enables students to explore either the issues raised or the theatrical techniques used within the production. Each one-hour workshop requires a hall or drama studio type space, usually working with one class group at a time.
