Riverside Performing Arts (RPA) Co-ordinator –
22.5 hours per week

RPA is a Christian theatre company & training school, with around 6-8 students per year based in Riverside Church, Birmingham. The students are trained in the performing arts and Christian discipleship and work as a team in many primary and secondary schools in Birmingham and beyond. The theatre company works extensively in Birmingham schools and festivals throughout the UK as well as partnering with the Midlands Art Centre. There are also some evening and weekend performances.
Student Admissions – dealing with telephone, email & postal enquiries, representing RPA as first point of contact, setting up interviews & updating database.
Theatre Company– plan weekly call sheets, book projects & venues, liaise with schools & organisations.
Publicity – organising publicity with target organisations, event & publication deadlines. Organising publicity production and prospectus development.
Administration & Co-ordination – Office organisation, maintaining computerised calendar, checking website up to date & raising invoices. Ideally, some transportation of the team to schools and mission tours by minibus. Full driving licence.
Project Work – Where appropriate lead and plan practical project/ performance work
