Creative stories make an impact!

RPA Frame of Mind

Frame of Mind

Jesus was one of the most effective story tellers the world has seen, connecting with people using images they understood in creative and illustrative ways.

At Riverside Performing Arts our desire is to model this ability to tell stories to challenge, provoke thought and positively change all those we are connecting with. From this we have the privilege of hearing many real life stories of ways our work has impacted and we wanted to share some with you.

Over the last 2 months we’ve heard these responses:
“My son is unable to attend mainstream education due to a number of difficulties he faces. I find it hard to see him unable to engage in so many of the experiences he is given. However, when he saw your performance he not only sat and danced throughout the whole show but has also continued telling me how special he knows he is since seeing it. I cannot thank you enough.” Parent

“Thank you for your lovely performance, it was fantastic acting. I like the part where you sing about Jesus and God” Year 2 Pupil

“Since I started RPA, my faith in God has grown tremendously. I have learnt more about who he is and who I am in him. RPA has changed and moulded me, and I have come out bolder, stronger, and more confident than ever.” 2016-17 RPA Student

“There is a big difference in all the work RPA do to other Theatre Companies we’ve worked with. The genuine value and love they bring into our school leaves a notable impact. Following their last assembly a pupil stood up and prayed spontaneously to thank God for what they had shared in our school.” Head Teacher

This year is looking to be one of our busiest ever, full of some incredible opportunities and partnerships which you can read about inside. Thank you so much for all you continue to do in partnering with us on this journey and helping to create even more life changing stories.
